haute couture tokyo

I've been keeping track of Sophia Neophitou for a while, as the current Fashion Editor and stylist of 10 magazine she is renowned as being one of the most influential and respected creative forces in the fashion industry. I've only just stumbled across this amazing shoot for the April 2012 edition of 10. I can't praise the styling enough, beautifully pure white lace and the contrast of the seductive PVC knickers in the crawling pose makes such a fantastic picture. Matching the creepers with the light and girly haute couture garments creates a perfect contrast, and the simple background and old school polaroid photography adds to the contrast effect. Simple, stunning and inspiring.

paris. take 2

After being given the news that I was confirmed to shoot for Saint Laurent Paris and getting over my state of shock, I travelled back on the Eurostar to Paris. I stayed at Hotel Annexe near Republique and spent my days working at Le Grand Palais for the Saint Laurent Paris showroom. The clothes were all so chic in the typical Parisian palette of black and white. It wasn't the most exciting of jobs but it was definitely interesting and an experience I won't forget.

paris.

A 2 hour casting in Paris meant I had some spare time to visit some local hot spots. The architecture and the Parisian culture is insane, I don't think I've ever visited such a beautiful city. The streets seem very spacious and the buildings are so grand, I'm not surprised it's the most romantic city on the earth.
