took a very spontaneous holiday to Corfu with my best friend for a week. It was my first time visiting a Greek island and was instantly inspired by their run down architecture providing great character to the streets and also by the incredible landscapes and cuisine. Since I've returned I've been living off Greek salad and finding any excuse to wear my greek inspired sandals.

ELLE intern 2012

My application for Fashion Editor as part of the Elle intern 2012 competition allowing interns to produce the October 2012 issue.
My idea for the main photoshoot was inspired by the film 'the boat that rocked' due to collections produced by Miu Miu, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Jonathan Saunders involving bold colour, prints and jewel embellishment. Due to the film being based on "pirate radio" it seemed relevant to make the link between "pirates" and "jewels." The location of the shoot would be on a boat and photographed by the talented Will Davidson who captures a models movement brilliantly, making his images fresh and interesting. The model Jacqueline Jablonski has a directional but relaxed facial features making her relevant to the typical Elle consumer as well as making the shoot overtly interesting.
